Agreement to Terms
By registering for or participating in Texas AAU Football & Cheer programs, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not register or participate in our programs.
Registration and Eligibility
To participate in our programs, you must:
- Be between the ages of 6-14 years old
- Complete registration through a parent or legal guardian
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Pay all applicable fees in full or according to agreed payment plans
- Provide required medical information and emergency contacts
- Comply with AAU registration requirements
Fees and Payments
Registration fees cover program costs including:
- Coaching and instruction
- Facility use
- Insurance coverage
- Basic equipment (jersey, practice gear)
Additional costs may apply for tournaments, uniforms, and optional equipment. Refunds are provided according to our refund policy (see below).
Refund Policy
Our refund policy is as follows:
- Full refund (minus $50 processing fee) if withdrawn before first practice
- 50% refund if withdrawn within first two weeks of season
- No refund after two weeks from season start
- Medical exceptions may apply with doctor’s documentation
- No refunds for suspensions or expulsions due to code of conduct violations
Code of Conduct
All participants, parents, and guardians must:
- Treat coaches, officials, opponents, and teammates with respect
- Follow all safety rules and instructions
- Maintain good sportsmanship at all times
- Refrain from bullying, harassment, or discriminatory behavior
- Support a positive team environment
- Comply with all AAU and organizational rules
Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or permanent expulsion from the program without refund.
Safety and Liability
Football and cheer are physical activities that carry inherent risks. By participating, you acknowledge:
- You understand the risks associated with the sport
- Your child is physically capable of participation
- You authorize emergency medical treatment if needed
- You will provide accurate medical information
- You release Texas AAU Football & Cheer from liability for injuries except in cases of gross negligence
Insurance
All participants are covered by AAU secondary insurance. This insurance is secondary to your primary health insurance. We strongly recommend maintaining adequate health insurance coverage for your child.
Media Release
By participating, you grant permission for Texas AAU Football & Cheer to use photos, videos, and information about your child for promotional purposes unless you explicitly opt out during registration.
Attendance and Participation
Regular attendance at practices and games is expected. Coaches may limit playing time for players with excessive absences. Players must notify coaches in advance of absences when possible.
Equipment and Uniforms
Participants are responsible for maintaining issued equipment and uniforms. Lost or damaged items must be replaced at the participant’s expense. All equipment must be returned at the end of the season.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated to registered participants. Continued participation constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
Termination
We reserve the right to terminate participation for violations of these terms, code of conduct violations, or non-payment of fees. Terminations due to violations will not result in refunds.
